Color photography is my favorite for capturing daily life kind of moments. I believe that everyday photos can be worthy of fine art status. I believe that if it stands up to the standards of fine art and has that quality of speaking something important, then it qualifies. So here are a mixture of "life portraits", landscape, animal and other subjects... the point being to capture a moment, a memory that speaks to the power & awe of it all.
Now these are what I call "life portraits".
I was at the beach and this line of footprints just struck me. I couldn't stop looking at them and thinking about the footprints we make through life.
"Take me home... country roads..."
I always did love the view while lying under a tree.
There's nothing like the innocent joy of a child at play.
The obsession with light continues... don't you just love what it does on water?
